This is going back a year but in January 2020 PCSA Kent received a donation of £600 pounds from soldiers of the First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, stationed at Sir John Moore Barracks, Folkestone. Throughout the month of November 2019, the Battalion’s Corporals Club raised a grand total of £1000 to be shared between PCSA Kent and the national charity, Movember. Brian Murphy, who received the donation on on behalf of PCSA Kent, said their willingness to support the fight against prostate cancer in this way reflected the Gurkhas’ renowned sense of community and generosity of spirit. We are immensely grateful for their support.
