On Wednesday 30th August, Graham Edwards from PCSA Kent presented a state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner to Dr Albert Edwards, Consultant Clinical Oncologist.  The scanner will allow more men in East Kent to have specialised treatment planning procedures performed at the Oncology Centre in Canterbury rather than travelling to Maidstone as is currently the case for 50% of patients . This will result in improved treatment times and easier case management.

Also pictured are Sarah Hodgkinson, Nick Luscombe and Christine Richards, Head of Radiotherapy Services, from The Kent Oncology Centre, Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.  Members of PCSA Kent and representatives from Canterbury Rotary Club and Martello Masonic Lodge are also present.

Once again, PCSA Kent is extremely grateful to all individuals, clubs and associations who continue to support the charity so generously.
