PCSA Kent has donated a specialist medical chair for perineal prostate biopsies to the urology department at Kent and Canterbury hospital.  Perineal prostate biopsy is a safer and more accurate procedure than traditional trans-rectal biopsy. It reduces the risk of infection and is a more comfortable experience for the patient.

Graham Edwards from PCSA Kent said  “The group will continue to fund-raise. We spend a lot of time with buckets outside supermarkets and talking to organisations like the Lions, Rotary and Masonic lodges. We want to raise awareness as well as money and it is important that people are aware of the symptoms of prostate cancer because early treatment can save lives”.
